Online Services

You can order your repeat prescriptions, book some doctors appointments, view historic/future appointments and cancel all appointments online.  In order to do this you need to obtain a username and password from the Surgery (Photo ID required).

Nurses

Rosie Maxey

rosie3.jpgRosie used to be our health visitor. She is our senior practice nurse and specialises in diabetes care and family planning, as well as doing all the many other things that all our practice nurses have to do.

Lorraine Ham
lorraine2.jpgLorraine specialises in the monitoring of coronary heart disease. She takes blood samples and changes catheters, and helps people to stop smoking. She assists Dr Acorn in his vasectomy clinic.
Fiona Barton

Fiona is qualified in chronic disease management and all general nursing.

Caroline Kennett

Assists in the Vasectomy Clinic.

Healthcare Assistants

Healthcare assistants support practice nurses with their daily work and carry out tasks such as phlebotomy (drawing blood), blood pressure measurement and new patient checks. They may act as a chaperone when a patient or doctor requests one.
Gill Turner

Gill also helps with Hypertension Clinics, phlebotomy and performs the free NHS Healthchecks.
