Home VisitsDoctor's bag

When possible,  let us know before 11:00am if you need a visit.  Try and indicate how urgent your need is so that the doctor can prioritise your call. When the morning surgery is busy and there are a number of home visits needed you may not be visited until the afternoon so is important that you let us know if you need urgent attention.

If you are able to attend the surgery, please do so. With the facilities and equipment at the surgery we can make a better assessment of your problem.

If you could get to the surgery, but are too ill to sit in the waiting room, we can arrange for the doctor to see you on arrival at the surgery

You can also be visited at home by a community nurse if you are referred by your GP. You should also be visited at home by a health visitor if you have recently had a baby or if you are newly registered with a GP and have a child under five years.
